Refund Policy
Who handles refunds: BatchRender is sold via Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy on our behalf, returned to your original payment method. Once approved, refunds typically appear in 3–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
1. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to support@batchrender.com within 14 days of your purchase, including:
- your order ID (from the Lemon Squeezy receipt email), or the email address used for purchase;
- a brief reason (optional, but it helps us improve the product).
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Lemon Squeezy within 3–5 business days; the funds may take an additional 3–10 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank.
2. Eligible Situations
A refund will be granted in any of the following situations, provided the request is made within 14 days of purchase:
- the software does not function as described on our website;
- a technical issue prevents you from using the software, and we are unable to resolve it within 7 days of being notified;
- you accidentally purchased the wrong plan or made a duplicate purchase;
- you simply changed your mind, and the license has not been used to render a substantial volume of output.
3. Non-Eligible Situations
A refund will not be granted in the following situations:
- more than 14 calendar days have passed since the date of purchase;
- the license key has been shared, published, leaked, or otherwise misused in violation of our Terms of Service;
- the license has been used to render a substantial volume of output, indicating effective use of the product;
- the request is based on a feature being absent that was not advertised on our website at the time of purchase;
- the issue is caused by hardware not meeting the published system requirements, after we have informed you of the discrepancy.
4. EU Consumer Rights
If you are an EU consumer, applicable EU law grants you a 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts. For digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, you expressly consent at checkout to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the statutory cooling-off right is waived once the license is delivered. Notwithstanding this waiver, the discretionary 14-day money-back guarantee described in this policy applies. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under your local law.
5. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us first before initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved directly and faster via email. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in the immediate revocation of your license and being declined for future purchases.
